Artists & Galleries
The space of living creation
Artists and galleries are at the heart of SM'ART Life.
The show celebrates contemporary art in all its forms: painting, sculpture, photography, installation, performance and design.
Each work expresses a vision of the world, a singular gesture, an emotion to be shared.
The SM'ART Life 2026 project is set to offer artists and galleries an exceptional, open, inspiring and demanding exhibition space, where materials and light become language, and where contemporary art is lived as a sensitive experience.
A demanding and inspired artistic direction

Under the direction of the show's curator, Stéphane Cristol-Barthès, a well-known figure in the art world, SM'ART Life champions a bold and deeply human curatorial vision.
The artistic selection highlights established and emerging designers, chosen for the strength of their universe and the singularity of their approach.
French and international galleries are invited to present works that question, move and embody the vitality of the contemporary scene.
A selection committee ensures the coherence, quality and balance of the artistic career as a whole.
A prestigious exhibition setting

Set in the Parc Jourdan in Aix-en-Provence, SM'ART Life features an immersive, illuminated scenography designed to enhance each artistic universe.
The show attracts an international audience of collectors, curators, journalists and art enthusiasts, making each edition a privileged moment of encounters, exchanges and discoveries.
